Learning Community Superintendent's Report
The Learning Community's 11 superintendents released a report on August 29, 2014 with recommendations for changes to the Learning Community. The most significant is the proposed elimination of the common levy. Our district loses $2,159,220 this school year alone because of the common levy, which represents over 16% of our potential revenue. Click here for the full report. The Board of Education will comment on the report and vote to support or oppose the recommendations in each section on Monday, November 10 at 7 PM at the district office. The step after the Board meeting is to submit the results of our Board's votes on the recommendations and attach comments to the report. Then the report goes to the state legislature's Education Committee for consideration.
