Come support our boys basketball team tonight as they take on the Antlers of Elkhorn High School in the EMC Championship Game.  The game will be played at Gretna High School at 6 pm. 

Each year Mr. Craney leads a group of students using their carpentry skills into the world of construction.   This team approach class has taken on finishing basements, many school improvement projects and community projects.  However, this year they took on a big project by building a loft in the scene shop of the theater.  This new loft will allow the theater and music department to have a safe and out of the way storage area for the many props and set pieces that are used each year.  Thanks to our Construction Technology class and Mr. Craney for their great work.  For more pictures of their completed projects click here.

The annual Foundation Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auction will be held on July 13, 2012 at Tiburon Golf Course.  Information will be available soon on the South Sarpy District 46 website.  If you are interested in helping or providing items for the auction please contact Lindy Richards at 402-592-1300.

Five students in Advanced Math joined Mr. Arch on Sunday, December 11th to help Big Brothers/Big Sisters run their Holiday Carnival at the LaVista Rec Center.  The volunteers helped run games, serve food, and seat eager kids looking to meet Santa Claus.  The students helping were June Anderson, Sara Clapham, Alexis Feller, Michelle Ervin, and Caleb Dewey.

You can now buy your student’s yearbook online at www.yearbookforever.com or at school from Mrs. Krapp in the office or Mr. Jenson in Room 114. If purchased online there is a $2.00 service charge so you can avoid that by purchasing at school. Don’t wait — yearbooks are on sale for $45.00 but the price increases starting November 1, 2011!
